I am considering taking a sabbatical from the program for a few months in order to spend more time making improvements on the website. The last Sunday of this month will be the last program until around September or October.
The evening of the 19th of April will begin the Lord’s feast of Passover and the 21st is the barley sheaf (harvest) offering. Passover represents the crucifixion of our Lord Yeshua, and the barley sheaf offering is the sign of His resurrection. The barley sheaf offering is the first day of the counting of the omer. The omer count leads up to Shavuot, Christians call this Pentecost; the pouring out of the Holy Spirit.

Father,
I thank You for being God, for being the King of the Universe, King over heaven and earth. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein. Ps 24
We ask You cleanse us from all unrighteousness so that our prayers will not be hindered. We desire our prayers to be effective against the kingdom of darkness.
It is not by our might or power that evil is conquered, it is done by Your Spirit. We pray for a release of Your Spirit over the remnant today. We pray for Your people that are starving in prisons in the Arab and Asian countries. They are pursued and tormented, persecuted for the witness of Yeshua. We pray You strengthen them, give them courage and boldness to face down the enemy that has come to weary Your saints.
We confess the sins of this nation, our guilt before You. The word does not relax its standards on what is pleasing to God. It is necessary to submit ourselves to God, to humble ourselves and admit our guilt of rebellion against His word. It is vital that we repent and turn from our sins of executing the unborn. This nation is guilty of molesting its children by parents, relatives, friends, and even the church. Our children are raised in a society of sexual bondage and extreme depravity; evil is promoted and called good.
We confess the greed that exists in our nation and in some of our churches. We are guilty of idolatry, adultery, of witchcraft, charismatic witchcraft, we are found guilty. The rejection of the knowledge of Your Word is destroying us. Hosea 4:6
We need Your assistance, God, we are most wretched without Your Word to lead us to life. We desire Your presence, we desire Your justice and righteousness to invade the earth, we desire to be delivered from evil.
We bless You today God, we bless Your Word. Help us to overcome our evil inclinations, and to overcome the world. In Yeshua’s name. Amen
Last program we had gone over some passages on the Messianic Age. I was able to give a few examples on what the regenerated or resurrected will be doing during the reign of Messiah; this also includes those who are caught up at the same time with the regenerated. The Twelve apostles will be judging the twelve tribes of Israel—Matthew 19:27. This first resurrection is known as the resurrection of the righteous.
According to Revelation 20, those resurrected will serve as priests before Yeshua. Revelation 3:20-21; Revelation 2:25-27 ‘Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come. (26) ‘He who overcomes, and he who keeps My works until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE POWER (authority) OVER THE NATIONS; (27) AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON: THEY SHALL BE DASHED TO PIECES LIKE A THE POTTER’S VESSELS, as I also have received authority from My Father.
From this we understand the remnant of the nations who survive the Gog-Magog war will still possess the evil inclination, or else there would be no reason to have to rule with a rod of iron. Those not conforming to the Law or Teachings will dashed to pieces.
Isaiah 1:25-26 gave a prophetic utterance that Yeshua would restore the judges (time of David and Solomon) and counsellors to Israel (time of Moshe and Aharon) and that Jerusalem would be called the city of righteousness and also the faithful city. These are they, Jew and Gentile, who are regenerated. The Jews who survive the holocaust (the remnant) will serve as counsellors and teachers, and judges.
We explored Yeshua’s doctrine on the resurrected, those regenerated will not be given in marriage, which means they will not have children either. The resurrected will not marry, they will not fornicate or commit idolatry. They will be like the angels of God, meaning their function is to solely serve Him.
Now today we will continue to examine more passages concerning the Millennial Kingdom. Let us begin with Ezekiel 39. This chapter gives us the description of Gog and Magog (the nations) being annihilated by Yeshua and His hosts.
Ezekiel 39:4
You (Gog/antichrist) will fall upon the mountains of Israel (Rabbi Abarbanel elaborates that this is the earthquake mentioned in Ezekiel 38:19, For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel), you and all your cohorts and the peoples that are with you; I will give you to the bird of prey (vultures, hawks, eagles), to every winged bird, and to the beast of the field as food (I was sort of perplexed by because I am thinking the animal kingdom is going to be greatly diminished a the end of the age from the wars and natural disasters. Yet, here they are dining on the carcasses of humans).
- I will dispatch a fire against Magog and against those who dwell confidently in the islands, and they will know that I am God. I will make My Holy Name known among My people Israel, and will not desecrate My Holy Name any longer; then the nations will know that I am God, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is coming and it will happen – the word of the Lord God—that is the day of which I have spoken.
Then the inhabitants of the cities of Israel will go out and kindle fires and fuel them with their weaponry – shield and buckler, with bow and with arrows, with mace and with spear; they will fuel fires for seven years (seven years is a cycle , and seven of these cycles lead up to Jubilee. The seventh would be the shmita, which is known as a year of release or Sabbatical year where the land will rest).
- They will not carry wood from the field, and they will not cut it from the forests, for they will fuel fires with the weaponry. They will plunder those who had plundered them and despoil those who had despoiled them—the word of the Lord God.
- It will be on that day that I will assign Gog/antichrist a burial site there in Israel—they Valley of Passersby, east of the Sea; it will block the passersby, and there they will bury Gog and all his multitude, and call it the Valley of Hamon-gog (Valley of Multitude.
- The House of Israel will bury them in order to cleanse the land, for seven months. All the people of the land will bury, and it will bring them renown; on the day that I manifest My glory – the word of the Lord God.
- They will designate permanent officials to pass through the land, burying, together with the passersby, those that will remain upon the open field, to cleanse (the land). After seven months, they will (begin to) search.
- They passersby will traverse the land and when they see a human bone, they will build a marker near it, until the buriers bury it in the Valley of Hamon-gog.
- There will also be a city called Hamonah (Her multitude). Thus they will cleanse the land.
So Ezekiel prophetically describes this end of the age war that will usher in the Messianic Kingdom. Israel from the start of this Kingdom will find themselves busily burying the dead for seven months and burning the weapons of the nations for seven years. This kingdom will not be, yet, a new heaven and new earth as described by Peter in his epistle in which that Kingdom, the Everlasting Kingdom will begin brand new.
2 Peter 3:10
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God (He is not calling it the coming day of Christ but the coming day of God. This is concerning the Everlasting Kingdom, the feast called Shimini Atzeret, the eighth day), because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat (this description it is quite different than Ezekiel 39)? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new (kainos) heavens and a new (kainos) earth in which righteousness dwells.
The Greek word Kainos (G2537). Kainos means: not being used before, it means unused, unworn, recently made. as respects substance; of a new kind, unprecedented, novel, uncommon, unheard of. The Messianic kingdom will not begin as brand new.
We do not see in Ezekiel 39, new heavens or a new earth. Nothing is consumed by fire, not the earth, not the elements, nothing is dissolved, nothing is melting; instead, Israel is working diligently to rid the land of human remains by burying them; well, what is left of them. Their remains are not consumed by fire. This chapter tells us it will take seven years to consume the weapons. So nothing here in Ezekiel 39 would lead us to think it is a new heaven and new earth.
Isaiah 2 (Micah 4)
The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter daysThat the mountain of the Lord’s houseShall be established on the top of the mountains,And shall be exalted above the hills;And all nations shall flow to it.3 Many people shall come and say,“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,To the house of the God of Jacob;He will teach us His ways,And we shall walk in His paths.”For out of Zion shall go forth the law,And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.4 He shall judge between the nations,And rebuke many people;They shall beat their swords into plowshares,And their spears into pruning hooks (knives);Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,Neither shall they learn war anymore.
But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree,And no one shall make them afraid;For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.5 For all people walk each in the name of his god,But we will walk in the name of the Lord our GodForever and ever.
Micah 4
6 “In that day,” says the Lord,“I will assemble the lame,I will gather the outcastAnd those whom I have afflicted;7 I will make the lame a remnant,And the outcast a strong nation;So the Lord will reign over them in Mount ZionFrom now on, even forever.8 And you, O tower of the flock,The stronghold of the daughter of Zion,To you shall it come,Even the former dominion shall come,The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 11
There shall come forth a [a]Rod from the [b]stem of Jesse,And a Branch shall [c]grow out of his roots.2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,The Spirit of counsel and might,The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
3 His delight is in the fear of the Lord,And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;And a little child shall lead them.7 The cow and the bear shall graze;Their young ones shall lie down together;And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole,And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LordAs the waters cover the sea.
10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse,Who shall stand as a banner to the people;For the Gentiles shall seek Him,And His resting place shall be glorious.”
11 It shall come to pass in that dayThat the Lord shall set His hand again the second timeTo recover the remnant of His people who are left,From Assyria and Egypt,From Pathros and Cush,From Elam and Shinar,From Hamath and the [d]islands of the sea.
12 He will set up a banner for the nations,And will [e]assemble the outcasts of Israel,And gather together the dispersed of JudahFrom the four [f]corners of the earth.13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;Ephraim shall not envy Judah,And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.14 But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;Together they shall plunder the [g]people of the East;They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;And the people of Ammon shall obey them.15 The Lord will utterly [h]destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over [i]the River,And strike it in the seven streams,And make men cross over [j]dry-shod.16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His peopleWho will be left from Assyria,As it was for IsraelIn the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
