“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

Returning to the program

That was the Shema performed by Misha Goetz. Shema means hear, understand, to be obedient. Israel recites the Shema twice a day from Deuteronomy 6: Shema, hear O Israel the Lord God the Lord is One. The first commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your strength.

Shalom-shalom! This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program. I have returned from having taken a hiatus and there is much that has happened in the world since the last program in May. I don’t think we will have time to go over those things.

Today we are going to over some passages in Revelation 9 and chapter 17, some passages in Zechariah 13 and 14.    Let us pray and bless God: We thank You for Your Word, and Your presence, Your teachings, Your program, Your blueprint to bring Your kingdom here in the earth where righteousness and justice will reign. We bless You, Your Holy Name, Your Son Yeshua, Your presence and Your love for us. Amen.

The Father, YHVH, has spoken to us over the summer. One truly notable event was His allowing us to hear in the Spirit His end of days outpouring during the Lord’s feast of the counting of the Omer. We heard the outpouring as abundant rain. We are in the last days, and we have been commissioned to announce it.

The abundant rain we heard in May is a pattern from Acts 2, when Peter quoted from Joel 2 that in the last days he would pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh and that our sons and daughters would prophesy. Joel 2 teaches the outpouring would occur before the great and notable day of the Lord. This notable or awesome day is the day of final judgment. This is the day of war when Yeshua in Revelation 17 will come as a warrior to fight for Israel against the antichrist and the nations.

We are absolutely living in the most profound days of prophecy. If things do not change, if this nation does not repent of its sexual perversions, its murdering the innocent, of its afflicting the poor, its hatred, its pride and greed, the next 4 to 6 years are going to be years of great upheaval. Inflation is already being felt at the grocery stores because of the loss of livestock, soy, grains and corn in the Midwest this past spring. Revelation 6 speaks twice of famine and hunger under the third and fourth seal. Even CNN agrees with Revelation. August 9th, they reported that “food will become scarcer, grocery prices will spike and crops will lose their nutritional value due to climate crisis, according to a major report on land use from the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.”

https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/09/health/ipcc-report-food-security-climate-scn/index.html

Revelation 6:6 tells us that wheat and barley will be measured out for a day’s wages. Talk about inflation. Definitely there will be no disposable income.

I am wondering why people do not understand the seriousness of the hour in which we live.

Just a few days ago I was talking to a friend and she said: “It isn’t going to get any better.” According to the prophecies in the Word, she is right. How is she right? Improvements in life come only with repentance. Only God can heal the land, only God can restore individual lives, and families, only God can restore a nation. If there is no repentance, that is turning to God and performing His teachings of righteousness and justice, there will be no healing, no reconciliation, no restoration, there will be no prosperity, there will be no restored dignity. There will only be loss, poverty and disease.

The Word is clear, a nation no longer in covenant with God is turned over, or given, to its enemies: loss, poverty, disease and other kingdoms (the nations). That is a repeated pattern throughout passages in the Word. Egypt was conquered by God; Israel overcome by the Assyrians; southern Israel, Judah, conquered by the Babylonians; Babylonians by the Medes and Persians; the Persians were overcome by the Greeks; and the Greeks overcome by Rome; Rome was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. After a period of time it is as if they (Roman and Ottoman) blended like the toes of the image King Nebuchadnezzar had in dream, these toes were mixed iron and clay. Today we see the Muslims in Europe, the mixture. It also says the iron and clay would not adhere to each other. Daniel 2:43. In the end these all will be destroyed by another Kingdom, they will be overcome by their enemy also. Who have they made their enemy? God.

Revelation 11:15 makes it clear what Kingdom will conquer the world’s kingdoms.

The seventh angel sounded: and there were loud voices in heaven, saying: The kingdoms (all the nations and even Israel)of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. Revelation is about the end and how YHVH is going to cope with the nations and Israel.

Zechariah 13, this will be the Gog u’Magog war, the last war before the return of Yeshua.

And it shall come to pass in all the land (Israel)says the Lord, that two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die (by the nations),but one-third will be left in it (an estimate, about 2 to 3 million Jews depending on the Jews returning to Israel as the persecution of them increases in the nations): I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined. And test them as gold is tested. They will call upon My name, and I will answer them, I will say this is my people’; and each one will say, The Lord is my God.”

So how is it going to start? Revelation 9:16 will give us some insight

Revelation 9:16 Then the sixth angel sounded: and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.

15. So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill one-third of mankind.

16. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. (I would not insist that this could just mean an innumerable mass, because he heard the number of them)

17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplatesof fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow, and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and brimstone.

18.By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire, and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.

There is a book called European History Foretold and I am going to read some excerpts from it, and hopefully it will help you understand what John is trying to describe in his vision.

According to the book the home of the original Turkish people was the delta of the River Euphrates and there were four Sultanates: Baghdad (Iraq), Damascus (Syria), Aleppo (Syria) and Iconium (is Konya, a Turkish city today). Is it a coincidence that the world is militarily involved in these same areas today? History is being repeated. Turkey will become more newsworthy as time progresses. I am not saying these four angels are not entities that have been bound up at the Euphrates some centuries ago, but spiritual powers press or influence governments to war and it is because of sins of the nations. I am thinking these are already released. The antichrist will come up out of the mess in the Middle East and I am supposing as some, that he will be an Assyrian. A man of stern countenance, meaning that he is a man of war.

The number of the horsemen were two hundred million (Revelation 9:16). It would today be an easy task to gather 200 million people from the nations to war. Back in history, this number of people would be used up in a matter of years. This would be a continual war for a number of centuries. Which it took a number of years for the Ottoman Empire to conquer Rome. Today this number of 200 million is a feasible number with the world’s population as it is.

John hears the number of 200 million horsemen. I am not so certain this would be the total number of horses, as much as it is the number of men in the cavalry. The reason is this: there is only an estimated number of 59 million horses worldwide today, a little more, perhaps. US leads at 10 million, with Mexico, China, Brazil, and Argentina, following—these are the top five. I don’t even recall seeing Saudi Arabia on the list.

Perhaps 200 million will include a number of horses along with tanks and trucks, and other implements of war.

Revelation 9:17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplatesof fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow, and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and brimstone.

According to history these were the military colors of the Turkish Cavalry from their beginning to the nineteen century. A fellow by the name of Daubuz remarks that Ottomans wore scarlet, blue and yellow from their first appearance. The lion-head was then, and is now, a notable ensign among the Turks.

Revelation 9:18.By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire, and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.

Revelation 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

It is said the Turks were the first to use cannons; not the first to use gunpowder, but the first to use cannons. The Turks defeated the Romans by using brimstone, or sulfur, which is gunpowder (a mixture of sulfur, saltpetre, and charcoal). Cannons of the 15th century were called basilisks—a name given to a fabulous serpent, the breath (fire and brimstone) and even the look—of which, the ancients considered fatal.

Cannons pulled by horses are long, thin and round, so look like serpents. When pulled they become tails; when swung around and fired the artillery becomes the heads of lions, or Roaring Guns, because the horse is now behind. Some of these cannons were embellished with lion heads at the mouth of the cannon.

This book has brought more clarity to what we are now seeing in the Middle East because we are at war and they are at war with each other: Russia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan; interesting, Israel is fighting four heads right now: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip (August 26, 2019), and Iran is itching to get into the mess. Saudi Arabia is warring with Yemen.

I have only a few minutes left so let’s go ahead and look at Zechariah 13

Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

The Hebrew word for plague is maggepha (meg-gay-faw), it is from the root nagaph, it means to strike or smite) means a blow, pestilence, defeat, plague, slaughter, plague, pestilence, strike, smite. It always denotes a plague sent by God. Maggephah frequently describes a blow reflecting divine retribution. In the first use of maggephah describes the plagues of Egypt intended to pierce Pharaoh’s heart (Ex 9:14) ultimately did so in the form of the last plague (Ex 12:23). Nile turned to blood, frogs, flies, boils, and the last plaque being the first born dying.

Now some would think the plague in Zechariah 14 would be a description of the nuclear bomb of some sort, neutron, atomic, something of those sort of devices, but it seems this plague will cause absolute chaos and these nations will end up slaying each other.

But I would counter that it is a plague sent from the Lord, and not men as He says in Zechariah. It will give you something to think about.

Their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth – Think about this scene – if the flesh rots, all that is left is the skeleton and without flesh (muscle, like the flesh eating disease we are seeing on the internet) to hold it up, it literally falls to the ground! Anyone who has seen Raiders of the Lost Ark recalls a most incredible scene when the Germans open the Ark of the Covenant and their flesh melts. Eyes and tongue destroyed making them unable to see or to speak!

I am at the end of the program and if it is God’s will I will be here next Sunday.  Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, be conformed to His likeness and image. Remember to walk by faith, not by site. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Be forgiving. Love God and love your neighbor.

Ezekiel 39 speaks of the armaments being burned for 7 years.

 9. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord God
