“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

Seventh Trumpet, Revelation 15 and 16

Shalom, shalom. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program.  (November 24, 2019)

It is Thanksgiving this Thursday. I hope everyone will have a wonderful Thanksgiving as you meet with family and friends.  The secular new year 2020 is some 33 days away.

I will review last week’s program, finish out Revelation 15, and see how far we go into Revelation 16.

It was May this year when my husband and I woke in the night hearing in the Spirit the sound of rain. We live in an underground house and are not able to hear rain, only at times do we hear thunder. We realized this is the outpouring of His Holy Spirit in preparation for the great persecution/tribulation for these latter days.

This outpouring will consist of people experiencing a repentant spirit. Like the days of Yeshua and the apostles, there will be much healing available for the infirmed. Third, some Christians will experience much needed financial support. Ministries that have struggled will flourish for a little while. The door of opportunity has been opened, but this opportunity given will not last too long. It would be wisdom to think of preparing for the great persecution after this release because it will be for a short time.

Persecution is already here, but it will increase in severity as the months go by.

Let’s get started

Hear O Yisrael, the Lord God the Lord is One.

Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein.

Father, We thank You for being God, the King of the universe, and over heaven and earth. We ask that You cleanse us from all unrighteousness, so that our prayers will not be hindered. Help those of us who desire to obey Your teachings to be conformed to Your image. In Yeshua’s name, amen.

I am still in Revelation 15 where the last trumpet is sounded. The last trumpet is the seventh trumpet and it is also the third and last woe; meaning this is going to be quite severe judgments, or punishments, for the unrepentant; those who love the beast and the beast system. Paul stated in I Thessalonians 4, But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have not hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep in Jesus. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet (he doesn’t say which trumpet but he clarifies it in I Corinthians 15) of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Meet in this passage is apantesis (G529) and means friendly encounter. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

I Corinthians 15:52, In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

So the steps consist of the descending of the Lord from heaven, brings those who sleep in Yeshua, a shout, a voice of the archangel and the last trumpet, then the resurrection and the caught up to meet the Lord.

Let’s move on with announcement that the seventh trumpet.

So, Revelation 15:5 where there is seen this preparation of the final plagues that are going to be delivered in chapter 16.

5. After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony (that is the sanctuary, the Tent of Witness in heaven) was opened. 6. And out of the Temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.

7. Then one of the four living beings gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the fury of God, who lives forever and ever.

8. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God (Sh’kinah)and His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

I am trying to think about something I said, it was in chapter 11:19, this is where the Ark is seen for the first time in His temple. I alluded to it being seen because now it is going to war; God is going to war. Some of the elements we see in Revelation can be found in the book of Joshua. The name Joshua is pronounced Yehoshua. It is an older form of Yeshua. Yeshua is a contracted form of Yehoshua. The English version of Yeshua is Joshua. His name translated in Greek is Jesus. Yeshua, like Yehoshua, or Joshua means Yah’s salvation. In the book of Joshua, the nations are delivered to the Israelites; they take the promised land. It is similar in Revelation 11, the proclamation is given of the kingdoms of the world becoming the kingdoms of God and His Son. The Israelites prospered well under the leadership of Joshua and after his death they descended into idolatry.

In the book of Joshua are patterns we see in Revelation. For example, the Israelites surround Jericho’s walls; there are 7 priests with 7 trumpets (shofars), they take the Ark of the Lord into battle, the Israelites do not shout until the last day; after this the walls of the city are conquered. This is the same imagery in Revelation with 7 angels, 7 trumpets (shofars), the Ark is seen, and Paul said there is a shout at the resurrection. In Joshua, the city Jericho is conquered; in Revelation, the great city Babylon, the New World Order is destroyed, it is divided into three parts.

The Ark being seen in Revelation 11:19 reminds me of Moses saying whenever the Ark would set out from its place in the Holy of Holies, he would shout: Rise up, O LORD! Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You.

As I have said, the Ark being exposed in Revelation 11:19 is the Lord going forth to battle and the plagues here in Revelation 16 are manifestations of His assault on the beast and the kingdom of the beast; not on those who are servants of the Lord. As we go through this chapter concerning the plagues you will notice they mimic some of the plagues in Exodus when Israel was being delivered. What we see in the end is what has happened in the beginning. The world is going to endure these plagues again. The Israelites survived these plagues, the Egyptians did not. There were Israelites in Egypt who did not survive because of their disobedience. This is an example, not all Israelites applied the blood of the lamb above their doors, the lintels, so the first born in those families died.

This is why in Revelation 18:2, an angel is heard crying out: Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

Verse 4, And I heard another voice from heaven saying: Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

Which plagues? It is speaking of those curses, calamities, the plagues in Revelation 16. Revelation 18 is an interlude before the coming of Yeshua in Revelation 19. It is, Revelation 18, is actually speaking of this angel who is proclaiming the destruction of Babylon before it happens, it is imminent, on the threshold, and the message is for His people to get out before this final plagues or else they are going to have to endure them.

Lot, the nephew of Abraham, would have been destroyed in the city of Sodom had the angels not dragged him, his wife and two daughters out of the city. Genesis says as much, chapter 19:12

Then the angels sais to Lot: “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place! For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”

This pattern is seen in Revelation chapter 18, the message to get out of Babylon before it is annihilated. I know it is difficult for the flesh to receive anything that I have been teaching, but I was required by the Lord to give truth. Truth isn’t always convenient to the flesh. Truth and action is abrasive to the flesh, the fleshly mind is not able to comprehend the disturbances that are coming shortly. Some are here already. My husband and I see where we are in this season. The information we receive from God we give freely to everyone else. Not everyone is able to receive, and I finally have come to terms with it. Only the spirit-minded are able to receive it. I realize that some will stay in Babylon to die with them, and Lot would have stayed to die in Sodom had it not been for the angels dragging them out by their hands.

So I am going to go on to Revelation 16:1

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels: Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.

First bowl is loathsome sores

2. So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon them who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.

This looks like the 6th plague that was visited upon Egypt in Exodus 9. This was an excruciatingly painful affliction that erupted on the flesh of all Egypt. Pharaoh and his household was covered in boils, the adults, the children, the necromancers and magicians, and even the beasts.

Exodus 9:10, Then they took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses scattered them toward heaven. And they caused boils that break out in sores on man and beast. And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.

The magicians and necromancers could imitate the first two of the ten plagues performed by Moses: turning water into blood and causing frogs to appear. After this, beginning with the third plague of lice, the magicians could no more manipulate nature. The Egyptians possessed the predisposition to worship animals which is called zoolatry and nature, their god creatures, images, was failing them.

The portion of this passage says the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils. No doubt their flesh was greatly afflicted and because of the pain they were unable to move, but there may be another reason for them not being able to stand before Moses.  These once proud magicians who could mimic the first two plagues were unable to imitate the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth plague. They could no longer manipulate nature through demons. In Exodus 9, the magicians are quiet before Moses and Aaron. They cannot say anything to Moses and they cannot stand before him because of their deep felt humiliation. Their gods, the creatures they worship have failed them. They are unable to reverse the curse, the plague. Sometimes Pharaoh would relent and beg Moses to remove a plague.

One or two programs ago I mentioned these plagues in Revelation 16 would begin at the new moon cycle. This past week I was reading through the Chumash, the five books of Torah with commentary, and it stated that the plagues of Egypt lasted a week. Moses would warn for three weeks of a forthcoming plague, the plague would then come and last for a week.

What is God trying to do? To make Egypt believe in the God of Israel, the God beyond nature, the God over nature, God the Creator.

I am at the end of the program. Rico Cortes will sing the Aaronic Blessing.

If it is God’s will, I will be here next week. Remember to walk by faith, not by sight. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Do two things this week: love and forgive. Love God, love your neighbor.
