That was the sound of the shofar. The shofar in the ancient past, in Israel was the calling for them to perform certain movements, or maneuvers according to particular sounds being produced. These specific sounds prepared them for specific movements. In the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar called Tishrei, known as the holiest month of the year; it is a device used to awaken the public toward the movement of repentance.

There will be a profound movement in the future when the last shofar is sounded—it will be the sound at that time to awaken the dead from the graves—the resurrection. We will not all sleep according I Corinthians 15:51

Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all be asleep in death, but we will all be transformed, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar; for a shofar will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible and we will be transformed.

The resurrection is also mentioned at the end of the book of Revelation. There are those who say the resurrection takes place at the beginning of Revelation but reading it in context—it has the appearance of it being impossible for that to happen.  Revelation 20

Then I saw thrones and those that sat upon them and judgment was given to them, and I saw the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Yeshua and because of the Word of God (Torah) and who did not worship the beast or his image and did not take the mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. Then they came alive again and reined with the Messiah one thousand years.  (According to the teaching of Revelation the resurrection will take place some time after the antichrist will have given the option to worship him, his image or take the beast’s mark on their foreheads, or their hands). The rest of the dead did not become alive again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection: the second death has no power to destroy them: but they will be priests of God and of the Messiah and they will reign with Him the thousand years.

That is not fake news, folks. Their mission, those who will be resurrected, those who did not worship the beast, or take his mark, are to be priests of God for a thousand years. The most positive news is that we are in the end days and Yeshua is returning, He is coming back.

Shalom-shalom, peace in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program. Today is the first day of the week, Sunday December 2nd and it is only 29 days until the New Year 2019.

Father,

We thank You for being God, for being the King of the Universe over heaven and earth. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world, and those who dwell therein. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I ask You to cleanse me from all unrighteousness so my prayers will not be hindered.

Moses would say at the movement of the Ark of the Covenant: “Rise up, O LORD! Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You.”

The Shema proclamation:

Shema, O America, the Lord our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.

We confess the sins of this nation before You; we are guilty of murdering the unborn, of child molestation, child sacrifice, of human trafficking, adultery, idolatry, zoophilia, fornication, of hating without a cause, drug addictions, homosexuality, gender confusion, witchcraft, charismatic witchcraft, perverse artists like Katy Perry and Jerry Seinfeld promoting cannibalism, and not just them there are others; it is as if this nation is drunk on the darkness of this world. Surely we are in the end days; the days of Noah and the days of Sodom.

We pray for a release of Your Spirit of repentance on this nation. We pray Your justice and righteousness will encompass the nations to bring us out of the dark ages; deliver us from the influence of Babylon, and release us from the clutches of the strong delusion that holds this nation and the nations captive.

We pray for President Trump as usual, that Your Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding would saturate him along with Your Spirit of might, counsel, and the fear of the Lord. We pray he will have understanding to not divide Israel. People trifle with Your good nature all the time and we provoke You to act according to Your justice and righteousness.

Israel is in need of Yeshua to deliver him from the conspiracy of the nations to annihilate them. We pray that You will open the eyes of their hearts of Your people there.  We pray they will no more reject You or Your Yeshua. We pray these petitions in Yeshua’s name.

Last program I gave some accounts of the persecution of the apostles in the New Testament. We are going to pursue this in this program as well. The environment then was intense and hostile to these trailblazers who were compelled to give the good news that God had supplied His sacrifice and everyone who would believe that Yeshua was the Salvation of God in the flesh for all mankind, could repent and be received by God; be reconciled to Him.

The apostles demonstrating the kingdom of God in healings, and the casting out of demons immediately set them at odds with the religious (whether it was Judaism or pagan) and political systems. It will be the same at the end of this age.

Acts 4 gives the account of the High Priest arresting the apostles and placing them all in the common prison. The text tells us the angel of the Lord broke them all out of jail and told them to teach in the Temple the words of eternal life. The apostles were summoned to appear before those in authority once more. This time around they were beaten and then released; the apostles counted themselves worthy to suffer shame for the name of Yeshua.

Herod arrested Peter at the time of Passover in Acts 12. He thought it was good to harass and abuse the church. He received approval from the  idol worshipers and those Pharisees and Sadducees, and those in the political system. He had James the brother of John killed with the sword.

In Acts 14, Paul was stoned by the citizens at Lystra and they dragged him out of the city supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. The next day he departed to Derbe with Barnabas.

Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:4-

But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;

As unknown, and yet well known; and as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 11: 23-

Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.

From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one, Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

Verse 28. In weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness—besides the other things, what comes upon me daily; my deep concern for all the churches.

These followers of Yeshua were dedicated souls to the Lord. They endured pain, agony, and the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for Yeshua. Their blood cries out from the ground, same as the blood of Abel.

The idea that Yeshua paid it all so that persecution would not come to the believers is ludicrous, it is a fleshly and carnal teaching of the devil. Anyone who says this is not serious about serving the Lord, because they want a god of the flesh.

II Timothy 3:12

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Mark 4:17 this is a parable of the sower sowing the seed, which is the Word, and the seed is sperma—meaning life. There are four grounds given to four kinds of hearts for the seed, the sperm—which is life to grow within; so all grounds are given opportunity to receive life. One was the wayside, one was stony ground; life fell upon thorns and the last was good ground.

Concerning life on the stony ground it says:

These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have not root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble (are offended).

Yeshua explains the different grounds, and the focus here is the stony ground; the rock like ground. These are the immediate people—they immediately receive the Word of life with enthusiasm and just as immediately are the ones who are offended by persecution; because the Word they receive has to be tried in them. What they are not –are defenders of the faith.

It is likely they would be suited for the Laodicean church in Revelation, the last church that is mentioned, the church of tolerance where the Word of Life has been neutered.

Today, we see this in plenty of places. The Word is neutered and has no transformational power. And we need transformational power to overcome ourselves, the evil inclinations that we all possess, the power to change lives; the idea is to not accept Yeshua as Savior and stay the way we were.

In this parable there are four soils and only one of the four is able to be fruitful. The good soil was able to be the most fruitful of all the grounds it  the last soil to be mentioned, its fruitfulness was some was thirty, some sixty and some a hundred. Only one out of four grounds listed prospered.

This is similar in the book of Revelation concerning the 7 churches and only 2 of the 7 receive commendation from the Lord. His message to the other 5 churches was for them to repent. These churches are the churches going through all the ages until His coming. We have the responsibility to repent.

I Corinthians 4:11

To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless and we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

Revelation points out a group that will be persecuted chapter 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God (this means the Torah) and the faith of Jesus.

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Revelation 13:7

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

Persecution in the 21st century left 90,000 Christians martyred in 2017. The Coptic Christians in Egypt endure extreme persecution. The Arab countries are active in their pursuit to rape, torture, and behead the Christians. The Asian countries are no better.

America was the last stronghold against it. Persecution is now being experienced; conservatives are lumped together as Christians according to Antifah and the other fascist sects. There is no tolerance for anything truly Biblical. This intolerance will continue to me tas tasis through this nation, and will become more violent toward those who according to Revelation 6:9 and Revelation 14:12 and Revelation 12:17 who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Persecution is not a new thing. When the economy gives out and possibly a couple of other incidents, history stands as a witness that Christians and Jews will blamed for it; and it will be because of who we voted for. There is no pleasure in this, but we are in the end days and He is returning.

I am going to end the program. Rico Cortes will sing the Aaronic blessing in Hebrew from Numbers 6:24-26.

If it is God’s will I will be here next program. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Do two things this week: love and forgive. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness every day. Keep your spiritual garments clean from wrinkles, spots and blemishes. Love God, love your neighbor.
