“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

Summary: Yeshua has risen and meets His disciples at the Sea of Tiberias during the Counting of the Omer. The Counting of the Omer mirrors those days Israel left Egypt and arrived at Mt. Sinai; from Passover to Pentecost/Shavuot. The story of the 7 disciples casting their nets to the right reflect the end of days harvest.

Shalom, shalom; peace, peace in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program.

I do have a website called Ancientscrollsonline.com. I do post prophetic dreams, prophetic words, visions and at times what others may send me. It is ancientscrollsonline.com.

It is 9 days until the election. My husband and I had gone Wednesday and voted early.

Some newsworthy items this week.  Francis became the first Pope to endorse same-sex civil unions going against the Biblical principles of God. The Catholic Church held the centuries old view of the Bible that marriage was reserved between man and woman. The spirit, or mystery of lawlessness is already at work. 2 Thessalonians 2:7

2 Timothy 3:13

But evil men and imposters will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Matthew 24:11

Then many false prophets will rise and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition who opposes and exalts himself above God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Bloomberg Opinion had an article written by Noah Smith on October 20th. Headlines read: Old Age Is The Next Global Economic Threat.

This doesn’t sound too well for the elderly at a time when euthanasia is becoming more acceptable in the nations. In our nation there is no respect for life, whether it is the unborn, children or the elderly.

The Honorable Amy Coney Barrett will have her confirmation hearing tomorrow for Supreme Court Justice. It will be interesting to see the reaction from the left if she is confirmed.

Today, I thought to go over John 21. This is where the disciples are told to cast their nets over on the other side of the boat.

Shema from Deuteronomy 6

Shema, O Israel, the LORD God, the LORD is One.

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.

Psalm 24

The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein.

Father YHVH,

We realize that You are the King of the Universe, King over heaven and earth. We thank You for Your Word, for the life, death, resurrection, ascension and soon return of Your Son Yeshua.

We pray that Your righteousness and justice will reign in the earth. We thank You that our many prayers and fastings for children to be rescued from sex traffickers are being answered. The sins of many are being exposed to the nation and to the world.

We are seeing the separation of the wheat and tares. This separation, or division, will continue until the return of Your Son, Yeshua.

John 21

After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”

They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and [a]immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?”

They answered Him, “No.”

And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.

14 This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.

Alright, so this chapter opens with Yeshua showing Himself at the sea of Tiberias. This is after the death of Yeshua at Passover, after His resurrection which was the first day/Sunday. More specifically this time period in which Yeshua is making His appearances is during the counting of the Omer.

The counting of the Omer is the period of 49 days that lead up to Shavuot/Pentecost. This mirrors the days it took for Israel to go from Egypt to Mt Sinai to receive the covenant of the Torah. In Jewish thought it is known as the time of spiritual ascension, of sanctification where one is purified from one’s association with sin.

So Yeshua fulfills this period of the counting of the Omer. In this chapter, this is His third time visiting the disciples, and it was the sea of Tiberias, which is also the sea of Galilee. Now from the previous chapter in John 20:26, we know the events in chapter 21 is sometime after the 8 days of His second appearance to the disciples in John 20.

John 21 is a picture of the millennial work of Christ from

1After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: (He showed Himself to 7 disciples)Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”

7 is the number for the kingdom, I am speaking of the Messianic Age. We may look at the Messianic Age as kingdoms of the world being restored. It is the completion of the work that began at the beginning in Genesis 2:1-4

1Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

The language speaks to us that the 7th day is the blessed day, it is the sanctified day, and God rested from all His work. The 7th millennium will follow this picture, this pattern; the pattern of rest from work; and was established thousands of years ago from Genesis 2.

The Messianic Age will be the restoration of the nations of the world. It will be one house, like the Garden was one house.

In Revelation 11,

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.

This is a picture of the millennial work of Christ; from the time of His visitation to His people in Israel, and the nations, to the end of the age.

These 7 disciples represent those in the earth during these millennia who have labored to help build the kingdom or the house of God. They are kingdom builders for the Messianic Age.

The sea and fish symbolize people and nations.

Revelation 17:15

Then the angel said to me: the waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

The word defines for us the symbols used to interpret other passages in the Word.

The left hand represents spiritual exile, rejection or judgment, and the right hand is perceived to represent mercy, or power; Yeshua sat down at the right hand of the Father.

In Matthew 4:19

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then Jesus said to them: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

That will be the calling of their lives to bring in those who have ears to hear the gospel; bring them in to the Marriage Feast of the Lamb, which is to spend eternity with Him.

Yeshua showed Himself on the third day, the day of His resurrection. It is the third day, or the third millennium from His first appearance in the first century, when He will once again reveal Himself to the nations. He will make His appearance as He always had.

In his commentary on Ezekiel 47, Jerome linked the miracle of the 153 fish with the prophet’s vision of a river of life flowing out from the Temple in the Messianic Era. According to Ezekiel’s prophecy, the river will flow into the Dead Sea, turning the salt water fresh:

Ezekiel 47:10

And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many. (Ezekiel 47:10)

Jerome believed that the miraculous represented the apostles bringing all nations into the kingdom. After all, the disciples were to be fishers of men: “The kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind” (Matthew 13:47). In that day, “Their fish will be according to their kinds … very many” (Ezekiel 47:10).

The secret of the 153 fish is revealed in the King Messiah, who is calling the fisherman (the disciples) to cast the net (the Gospel of the Kingdom) to bring the fish (the exiles, Jews and non-Jews) back to the Land (Israel), out of the seas (nations), to be together on the seashore amidst the grains of sand (the sons of Abraham), to inherit the land, as it is written,

“…Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, ‘You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is advantageous for us that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish. Now he didn’t say this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Yeshua would die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad..”
John 11:49-54

The sages tell us that the number 153 is a reference to a statement by the prophet Hosea. Hosea 1:10 ” Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living Elohim.’ 11 Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel! To understand the connection between this prophecy of Israel’s return, the reconciliation of the two Houses of the nation of Israel, and the 153 fish that were caught by Yeshua’s talmidim, we need to recognize that the gematria of the phrase “the sons of Elohim”  (the sons of God. Benei haElohim) is 153: Sons of Elohim – ~yhiêl{a/h'( ynEåB. 40 (~) + 10 (y) + 5 (h) + 30 (l) + 1 (a) + 5 (/h) + 10 (y) + 50 (nEï) + 2 (B) = 153

Peter’s catch of 153 seems to indicate the superabundance of the ingathering, or the harvesting of the nations.

I am at the end of the program.

If it is God’s will I will be here next program. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Do two things this week: love and forgive. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness every day. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Love God and love your neighbor.

Rico Cortes will sing the Aaronic priestly blessing.
