November 29, 2020 summary: Eastern figurative speech is examined to shed some understanding on certain passages of the Bible.

Today I am going to continue covering some of the figurative speech in the Word. The Word is an ancient Word that has been handed down to us, and should be understood from its roots of the past—its history, customs, manners, its way of life, figures of speech. If we do not have understanding of some of these things there will be misinterpretations of passages of what the author is trying to relay to us.
Well, we are 32 days away from the New Year, and it has been a trying year, and it is not over yet. For four years we have been a spiritual war that has now manifested in the physical realm. I do know revival is coming and when it does it will refresh us; it will be a powerful move of God to bring in the last days harvest. I am not saying there will not be persecution, and resistance, after all, the early church moved with the kingdom of God active in them while at the same time being hated and persecuted. We are in the last days and this is what we should expect.
We are not going to change the words of the prophets or the book of Revelation. We are not going to change the judgments, the earthquakes, the pestilences, persecution, the antichrist, the global totalitarian government. They have been written to be fulfilled. At best, I suppose, the timeline has been flexible and the condition of the world depended mostly on the Church, believers in Yeshua.
Yeshua did say in Matthew 16:18 to the Assembly or to the Congregation, the church, or the Hebrew Kehal, it was spoken that the gates of hell would not prevail, or over power it.
In the first century, the church was a powerful organism that advanced the kingdom of God, despite persecution. Their secret was that they learned to abide in the Lord, that no matter the resistance, the frustration, the beatings, the prisons, their expulsions—they abided in Him. Those that did not abide could not continue in the Lord Yeshua, they did not make it. We are in perilous days, the early church was in perilous times, and to survive we will have to mirror the early church and abide in the Lord. The world will hate you because the devil hates you. The church should not have anything in common with the world. China hates Christians because the church there has nothing in common with the world. The Christians there love God more than they love their lives. They endure perilous days, they are in peril every day and so it is with those in the Arab nations.
The other day on my Google newsfeed I saw where the global elites have planned a Great Global Reset. I am not saying this to create fear, however, it is alarming, and we should be aware of what is going on in the world. The world is changing. On the official Website of the World Economics Forum:
There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis. To improve the state of the world, the World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.
The Global Reset initiative is translated to mean the subjugation of humankind. Canada has already a well written strategy to implement the global agenda to its populace.
I am going to read certain points from their Strategic Plan because I think it will serve as sort of a template everywhere, I mean for the nations. Here is what a member of the committee sent out through an email.
What we were told was that in order to offset what was essentially an economic collapse on a international scale, that the federal government was going to offer Canadians a total debt relief. This is how it works: the federal government will offer to eliminate all personal debts (mortgages, loans, credit cards, etc) which all funding will be provided to Canada by the IMF (International Monetary Fund) under what will become known as the World Debt Reset program. In exchange for acceptance of this total debt forgiveness the individual would forfeit ownership of any and all property and assets forever. The individual would also have to agree to partake in the COVID-19 and COVID-21 vaccination schedule, which would provide the individual with unrestricted travel and unrestricted living even under a full lock down (through the use of photo identification referred to as Canada’s HealthPass).
Committee members asked who would become the owner of the forfeited property and assets in that scenario and what would happen to lenders or financial institutions, we were simply told “the World Debt Reset program will handle all of the details”. Several committee members also questioned what would happen to individuals if they refused to participate in the World Debt Reset program, or the HealthPass, or the vaccination schedule, and the answer we got was very troubling. Essentially we were told it was our duty to make sure we came up with a plan to ensure that would never happen. We were told it was in the individuals best interest to participate. When several committee members pushed relentlessly to get an answer we were told that those who refused would first live under the lock down restrictions indefinitely. And that over a short period of time as more Canadians transitioned into the debt forgiveness program, the ones who refused to participate would be deemed a public safety risk and would be relocated into isolation facilities. Once in those facilities they would be given two options, participate in the debt forgiveness program and be released, or stay indefinitely in the isolation facility under the classification of a serious public health risk and have all their assets seized.
So no matter what you do, you will have nothing except a totalitarian government over you. This the snake wrapped around the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve had everything and went to nothing. They went from life and went into a world of death. We are still living with the consequences of their decisions.
The article speaks considerably of COVID 19, and another strain called COVID 21. Has anyone that you know of contracted COVID 21? Why are they mentioning COVID 21 vaccinations if no one has developed COVID 21?
According to the globalist plan the new strain will be introduced by the globalists at end of February 2021. After having to endure COVID 19 all year, I have no doubt there is a COVID 21. Which means we will be infected by it within the time frame of middle March. We better get to praying that this thing fails somehow. The Globalists gives us the information concerning their plans on their websites, people just dismiss it as conspiracy theories.
This global reset, of course, is leading up to the kingdom of the antichrist, Revelation 13. We are fairly close to losing our sovereignty and being absorbed into the global kingdom of the antichrist. I say these things so those of you who have ears to hear will be watching and praying. You will understand where we are in the timeline of the Word. There is much to pray about concerning where we are in the world. The Word of God is being fulfilled every day.
Daniel 7 speaking of the beast
He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.

Arise, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered; and let those who hate You flee before you.
Father YHVH,
You are the King of the Universe, King over heaven and earth. We continue to pray for Your righteousness and justice to permeate the earth. We pray for the exposure of the unjust in the high places of this nation; those that hold public offices, those that loathe Your name in these positions of power.
Let’s look at a few of these idioms or figures of speech used to convey an idea that was familiar with those in the ancient past but not to us today.
Let’s start with Romans 7:24
- For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death.
This is in reference to the Roman method of punishment in which the body of the murdered person was chained to the murderer. The murderer was then released to wander where he might, but no one was allowed to help or comfort him upon penalty of suffering the same punishment. In the hot Eastern sun, the dead body would soon begin to decompose, overwhelming the sentenced person, not only with the smell but also with infection from the rotting flesh. It was perhaps the most sentences that the imaginary Romans ever devised. To Paul our putrefying body of sinful flesh is like this, and only Christ can rescue us from it.
Romans 8:15
You have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry: “Abba, Father.”
- Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
Among the Greeks and Romans, when a man had no son, he was permitted to adopt one even though not related. He might, if he chose, adopt one of his slaves as a son. The adopted son took the name of the father, was in every respect regarded and treated as a son. Among the Romans there were two parts to the act of adoption: one a private arrangement between the parties, and the other a formal public declaration of the fact. It is thought by some that the former is referred to in this verse: You have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry: “Abba, Father.”
And the latter in verse 23: 23. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
Where the apostle speaks of “waiting for the adoption.” The servant has been adopted privately, but he is waiting for a formal public declaration of the fact.
After adoption, the son no longer a slave, had the privilege of addressing his former master by the title of “father.” See Galatians 4:5-6
Jeremiah 8:22 In this text the Lord is frustrated with Judah for its continual backsliding. He is greatly concerned because His people are suffering from worshiping the gods that do nothing for them, yet they continue in their harlotry.
Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?
Balm is soothing, healing, or comforting agent or quality. “Balm in Gilead” refers to various resins used for healing and was available only a few miles away in Gilead, which was famous for the healing properties of the fragrant ointments made from its balsam plants and trees. The expression was used to mean that God’s help was near, but the people had refused it. Today the expression is sometimes used to mean there appears to be no healing or comforting to be found anywhere. It is an expression of near hopelessness and despair.
Jeremiah 9:17-18 This is a call to lament the destruction of Judah. Professional mourners are called to produce the sound of wailing in Zion.
This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skillful of them. Let them come quickly and wail over us till our eyes overflow with tears and water streams from our eyelids.
For long centuries it was the custom in the East to not only mourn the lost of a loved one with great lamentations, but, if the family could afford it, to also hire professional mourners. They would range from a few to a great number, depending on the family’s finances. Each group of mourners would try to outdo other similar groups in their display of agonized bereavement. They would tear their clothes and throw ashes and dirt upon themselves, sing in a sort of chorus mingled with shrill screams and loud wailing, and distort their bodies in various way to show the uncontrollable depth of their anguish. Swaying back and forth in a kind of melancholy dance to the thrumming music of tambourines, they would recount the virtues of the deceased, calling him or her by terms of tenderest endearment, and plaintively ask of him why he left his family and friends. With wonderful ingenuity these hired mourners would seek to make a genuine lamentation among the visitors who came to the funeral, pointing out those among them who had also suffered the lost loved one and the agony and suffering they felt, thus eliciting cries of true grief from those who are genuinely mourning.
It is this custom that Jeremiah alludes in our text, and also verse 20: “Teach your daughters how to wail; teach one another a lament.” The language here is very visual of the soon coming mourning of Judah’s captivity, the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.
Hired mourners were present at the burial of good king Josiah (2 Chronicles 35:25), and Solomon refers to such mourners in Ecclesiastes 12:5—“mourners go about the streets.”
Amos (5:16) also speaks of them: “There will be wailing in all the streets and cries of anguish in every public square. The farmers will be summoned to weep and the mourners to wail. Hired mourners were present with their instruments, which were specially designed for the mournful song of funeral dirges, at the house of Jairus after the death of his daughter. Matthew 9:23, Mark 5:38
Matthew 9:23 this custom of hiring professional mourners still existed in the first century, during the time of Yeshua.
When Yeshua came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping. And they ridiculed Him.
But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all the land.
