Shalom, shalom; peace, peace in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program. Here we are 6 months into the year, it has already been a trying year on many levels. Pressures are on every side. We keep trusting God that He is going to work things out in our lives and whatever purpose He has will be accomplished, because we have made up our minds to serve Him. He creates order, the world creates chaos, the nations create chaos and behind them; I am talking about the principalities behind them, they stir up the people in the nations. As the nations become more violent the earth will become more violent with natural disasters. When mankind is out of order, creation plunges into chaos. We are seeing the culmination of all the ages, the age of man, the 6 th day, is coming to an end; it brings stress, but relief is coming through the arrival of the kingdom of Yeshua, the Messianic kingdom. Today we will make some comparisons of Diana to the Catholic Church’s Mary, and point out some patterns we see in Revelation to Diana. I hope to fit every thing in this audio. Shema from Deuteronomy 6 Shema, O Israel, the Lord God, the Lord is One. You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. Psalm 24 The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein. Father YHVH, I thank You that You are God of the universe, King over heaven and earth. We anticipate Your kingdom to come. We yearn to see Your righteousness and justice to reign over the whole earth. It appears we are in perilous times. If we are not careful our love can wax cold, and Yeshua makes it clear that those who endure to the end will be saved. We pray Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment will saturate Your people. We pray protection over the faithful remnant, those who are fasting and praying. We continually pray for revival, that it will gain momentum. You are faithful to Your people. We pray for revelation of Your plans, of Your strategies to overcome the enemy of darkness. We thank You for Your Word of truth, it renews our hope. You are a good God. You are good to us. We plead the blood of Yeshua on those who listen to this program. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We seek to know Your will today. In Yeshua’s name, amen. So today we will speak a little more on Diana and this may be the last audio I will do on her. As the discussion moves along, we will see some patterns that emerge in Revelation. Too, we will touch on the myth of Mary of the Catholic Church. From research we have become familiar with some of the attributes of Diana. From her history as Inanna, she was known as the goddess of fortresses, goddess of war, of fertility, of sex, she was over beasts (and interestingly, Revelation speaks of the whore that sits on the 7-headed beast), protector of prostitutes, brothels, and childbirth, and she was called the Queen of Heaven. She was the patroness goddess of Ephesus. Her Temple was regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Pilgrims from everywhere would come to her festival in the spring about March/April. Many churches today still observe her festival called Easter. Now, you try to correct this leaven, this man-made tradition, in some of these churches and they will certainly stone you. I got this information from bibletools.com It says: Economically, Ephesus was a giant among first-century cities. With its strategic location, it was the chief commercial center of western Asia Minor. This is interesting, because in the book of Revelation, chapter 18: We see the woman who sits on the beast, she sees herself as a queen, she is not widow, that she lives luxuriously. John gives us some details on her commercial greatness, and it speaks of three sets of people who mourn her when she is destroyed: the kings, the merchants and traders on the sea. Verse 12(ch.18). Merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine, and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. This includes the sex trafficking of children, men and women. Its harbor brought ships from around the Mediterranean, and its two major roads gave ready access to other cities along the coast and inland. Diana’s temple, considered sacrosanct throughout the Roman world, became the primary banking institution in Asia Minor. Morally, however, the city was bankrupt. Just as our nation is inundated with perversion and pornography, Ephesus was controlled by the educated prostitutes affiliated with Diana worship. Part of the cult of Diana was the use of ritual prostitution whereby the devotee became “joined” with the goddess through her priestesses, ensuring her favor throughout the year. The woman on the beast is called THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. One philosopher, commenting on the moral climate in Ephesus, wrote that the inhabitants of the city were fit only to be drowned. He said that the reason he could never smile or laugh was because he lived amidst such terrible uncleanness. Ok, Revelation chapter 2, it isn’t surprising that Yeshua addresses the church of Ephesus first of the 7 churches. It was to the members of His church who lived among such prosperity and depravity. The church had been told they had forsaken their first love. Could it have been caused from being surrounded by such deep moral and spiritual depravity? In my research I found a paper authored by a person concerned about the paganism found in the organization called the Eastern Star; which is a secret society similar to the Masons. The founder of it, Rob Morris (1850), had misled people into thinking it was an honorable Christian organization, but then reading more in-depth, one would find it was actually established on idolatry; paganism under the guise of Christianity. A heading that caught my attention on Diana was titled Virgin or Lesbian? “We discover that Diana is the patron saint of the Feminists and Lesbians. She shunned men and devoted herself to hunting, always accompanied by a band of young women, who, like herself adjured marriage.” It continues: “In Ephesus and elsewhere, the cult of Diana encouraged sexual license and sacred promiscuity.” Adjure in this case means to give an oath, or vow. She vowed to never marry. https://www.cuttingedge.org/EasternStarG.pdf A book I had purchased called A Woman Rides the Beast: The Roman Catholic Church and the Last Days by Dave Hunt, is loaded with information on the rife pedophilia, fornication, sex for hire prostitutes, the mistresses, sex with the same sex; and the author goes on to say all of it was acceptable as long as they would not marry. The great Catholic evil is not sodomizing children; or being a fornicator, the great evil was matrimony. Pope Leo I (440-61) decreed that married clergy were to treat their wives like “sisters.” This means celibacy in a marriage; yet at the same time, one could visit the local brothel and rock and roll. Rock and roll is, of course, a sexual term. The Catholic Church and the goddess Diana have some common features. The ancient cult of Diana esteemed her as a perpetual virgin, and the Catholic Church regards Mary as a perpetual virgin; even though it is not scriptural. Matthew 1:25 gives us the information that Joseph did not have intercourse with Mary until she had brought forth her first born Son. After the birth of Yeshua, Mary had other sons and daughters, Matthew 13:55 speaking of Yeshua: Isn’t He the carpenter’s son? Isn’t His mother Miriam? And His brothers Ya’akov, Yosef, Shimon (Sheem-on) and Y’hudah? And His sisters, aren’t they all with us? Mary is said to be mother over the Church, she dominates the church. Diana dominated over and subjugated men. The cult was sexist not teaching equality of access to God, but rather special privilege by women to receive instruction from the Goddess. It was from this type of ‘sexist’ teaching and behavior that converts from the Cult of Diana were to refrain, and unlike in the Dianic Cult, women were to learn in submission and in all quietness. 1 Timothy 2:12 “I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man. 4 She must be quiet.” Paul is condemning very specific certain practices of the adherents of the Dianic cult in which one sex has mastery over the other for selfish interest and reinforcing his teaching that in Christ all men and women are set free and are equal before God. Unlike with Diana, where the female goddess was to be worshipped, Paul reminds these sexist pagans that Eve, the woman, sinned first and  foremost and dragged Adam (who followed willingly) into sin and death. There is a gnostic teaching In the Apocalypse of Adam (50-150 AD): “Adam says Eve taught me a word of knowledge of the eternal God.” Another one from The Hypostasis of the Archons (200-300 AD) which is a false interpretation of Genesis chapters 1-6: Adam acknowledges Eve gave him life; “The rulers took counsel with one another and said, ‘Come, let us cause a deep sleep to fall upon Adam’. And he slept. Now the deep sleep that they caused to fall upon him, and he slept is ignorance. They opened his side like a living woman. And they built up his side with some flesh in place of her, and Adam came to be endowed only with soul. And the spirit-endowed woman came to him and spoke with him, saying, ‘Arise, Adam.’ And when he saw her, he said, ‘It is you who have given me life; you will be called mother of the living. For it is she who is my mother. It is she who is the physician, and the woman, and she who has given birth.” In Asia Minor an amulet was recovered that bears a scene of initiation of Adam from Eve. The amulet shows Eve dispensing the knowledge (gnosis) of good and evil to Adam. On the amulet is a single tree from both trees in the Garden; the tree of life and the tree of knowledge. In Gnostic teaching life and knowledge are the two blessings which gnostic myth maintains Eve bestowed on Adam. Those women involved in the worship of Diana learned the gnostic teachings, that it was woman first and she gave life to Adam. This teaching was a teaching of domination and putting the man into subjection. Women who participated in Diana worship brought these gnostic teachings in the Messianic synagogue in Ephesus where Timothy was Bishop. This was the reason Paul stated: 1 Timothy 2:11-14, Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. Further, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. In the literal translation this passage is woman (not women), and some translations insist the passage is speaking to a wife and not wives. Paul is stating the women who were coming in to the faith of Yeshua from the cult of Diana needed to learn the correct order (teaching) of creation so that the gnostic teachings of Diana would be expunged from their minds. He wanted them to be renewed as it says in Ephesians 4:23, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. How? By the Word of God, and the teachings would give her victory over the gnostic teachings she had received. Women Are Called to Minister and to Preach by George A Gates Jr. pg 54-55 I say all this to put together a picture that the woman sitting on the beast in Revelation 17 is in a domineering posture. She reigns over the kings of the earth. In that verse some of you rightly know is talking about the woman being a great city which reigns over the kings of the earth. Every now and then I read articles on Pope Francis, and it was in February, the 11 th , 2019 that a covenant or agreement was established by various leaders and Imams of the Muslim nations. Over 4000 people were in attendance of it being signed at the World Government Summit in Dubai. Those in attendance were leaders of Christian organizations, Islam, Judaism and other faiths. Charisma News, and this is not the only information outlet reporting this, but others have called this agreement the one world religion covenant. Now this is interesting. I suppose the One World Government or New World Order would require a one world religion, as well, just like the prophetic word in Revelation. This mother Mary goddess worship will merge with the faith of Islam. It is a precursor for those things that are coming.
