“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

Job Behemoth and Leviathan August 26 2018

Shalom, shalom; peace in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program. Today is the first day of the week, Sunday August 26th.

Let us pray:

Father we thank You for being God, for being the King of the universe over heaven and earth. The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein.

Shema O, Israel, (Hear O America), the Lord our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.

We ask you to cleanse us all from unrighteousness so that our prayers will not be hindered. We pray for a release of Your Spirit of repentance on this nation We ask You to cleanse us from all unrighteousness that our prayers will not. We pray You will take the stony places out of the hearts of this nation and replace our hearts with hearts of flesh.

We pray against abortion, child molestation, adultery, idolatry, fornication, homosexuality, gender confusion, zoophilia, witchcraft, pharmakia, suicide, hatred, greed. The land is polluted with blood of the innocents, and the land is defiled with our sexual sins. We pray that every twisted and crooked way will be taken out of this nation.

We pray for President Trump. We pray that you remove every crooked way out of him,

As the New World Order establishes itself in plain sight, we pray discernment over Your people, those that have ears to hear will hear. Prepare us, for this great battle is now upon us. The world will follow itself to destruction, but the word given to Your true remnant is for us to be “overcomers,” as it says in Revelation 2 and 3. The pressing is here as evil wars against God to usurp Him and rule over the nations. The good news is God always wins.

I pray that Israel will be discerning as well. The nations rage against her, and against You. The enemy seeks Your holy place for these end of days events. Father, the dragon seeks what is Yours, Your world, Your nations, Israel, Jerusalem, your people. I praise You, for the end of the dragon has been written from ancient times. Help us to be faithful to You as the waters of ordeal, the bitter waters overtake the nations. In Yeshua’s name. Amein.

Today we are going to finish out behemoth and leviathan, I think, I hope. Last week we had gone over some books of the Apocrypha to see how the ancient people viewed these two entities Behemoth and Leviathan. In I Enoch 60:7-9, the male is called Behemoth who occupies with his breast an immense desert named Dedain [is located at Naid, or the land of Nod, in Genesis] to the east of the garden (this would be Iraq) where the elect and righteous dwell. And I asked that other angel to show me the power of those monsters; how they were separated on one day, one was thrown into the depths of the sea and the other on the dry ground of the desert.

We established last Sunday that Behemoth occupied the earth, the desert, or the wilderness and some accounts that are recorded use the image of the wilderness to reflect the character of a person, or peoples.  For instance, Ishmael lived in the wilderness at Paran; Esau, the son of Isaac and Rebekah, lived in the wilderness at Seir; and the sages have always thought Esau to represent Rome, today would be Europe. The children of Jaban: Kittim and Dodanim are the founders of the Greek and Roman civilizations, so you see this merging of Esau with these people. Over a period of time, the desert dwellers begin to advance into the more populous areas, and they begin to coalesce. The final example that I am going to use is Yeshua being tempted by the Devil in the wilderness.

So, I have been teaching for a few weeks that those things, those accounts written in the beginning of the Bible are again echoed at the end of the age. The same chaos, dysfunction, disorder that is found in the beginning is also witnessed at the end of days. The end of days is dealing with those areas in ancient times: Babylon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Israel, Libya, Lebanon, and now it includes the Greek or Roman empire—Europe.

The fallen tower of Nimrod’s day is now the New World Order tower at Strasbourg, France; it is the  European Union’s Parliament Building, and this new world order is a fountain of many voices where they say “out of many, one.”

Ok, so let’s go to Job 40 where this chapter gives us an ancient description of behemoth

Verse 15 Consider now at the behemoth which I made along with you. He eats grass like an ox  (now the ancient writers thought of the behemoth as having two horns like an ox). See now, his strength is in his hips, and his power is in his stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit (the sages say this is the behemoth’s testicles). His bones are like beams of bronze, his ribs like bars of iron. He is the first of the ways of God; Only He who made him can bring near His sword. Verse 20, Surely the mountains yield food for him. And all the beasts of the field play there (these can be metaphors for nations and human kind). He lies under the lotus trees, in a covert of reeds and marsh. The lotus trees cover him with their shade; the willows by the brook surround him. Indeed the river may rage, yet he is not disturbed; He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth, though he takes it in his eyes, or one pierces his nose with a snare. The sages translate this latter part as: He (God) will subdue it with his eyes, perforate its nose with hooks.

Just looking at the description, one’s observation is that this beast is so mighty that no mere human can expect to subdue it. Only God is capable of destroying it: only He who made it can bring the blade up close (to destroy it).

Like the Behemoth, the beast in Revelation 13 has two horns. These two horns represent two religions. Today the two most significant religions are Christianity and Islam. The purpose of the beast is to unite these religions into one man. You may have heard already some years ago the syncretism by Rick Warren called Christo-Islam, it is a merger of religions. Another example is Europe, it has lost its distinctive flavor by the arrival of millions of Muslims and some now call it Euro-Islam. France is weary of the civil war they are in with the Muslims; and the intellectuals are promoting giving the Muslims southern France. It will be interesting to see if the French will pay infidel tax to the Muslims.

The Middle East and Europe are the two pillars that hold up Babylon today. There were two pillars holding up the idolatrous shrine of Dagan in Judges 16. It was two pillars that Samson moved out of place and destroyed 3000 men and women. 3000 was a mature measure of justice that prefigures the end of days when over 3 billion people will perish. The world has been seeing the formation of the One World government for years; the same one world government created by Nimrod at Babel; but this time more extensive as it includes all the nations through political deception and technology; the same tower of power; the tower of pride and rebellion. Their religion is the worship of man and it is called idolatry.

Revelation 13:4, And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon (so here at some point the two horns on the beast from the earth will surrender the apostate Christians and Islam to the beast of the sea). who gave authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast. (In the ancient religions, the kings, pharaohs and emperors thought of themselves to be gods because they were one with their deity, they become ONE with their god. So this beast from the sea is one with the dragon. The people involved in this chapter understand this in Revelation 13 and these people apparently know they are worshipping the dragon. They worship the beast because he is one with the Dragon.

Daniel 11:38 has something to say about the beast: He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.  (One would think that perhaps this beast of the sea will not honor Allah as well. The beast of the sea, and earth have their own method of conversion—convert or die.

Next to this chapter on behemoth is Leviathan. Job chapter 41

Can you draw out Leviathan (the Septuagint translates it to serpent) with a hook. Or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? Verse 2, Can you put a reed through his nose, Or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he make many supplications to you? Will he speak softly to you?

Verse 4, will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him as a servant forever? Verse 5, Will you play with him as a bird (a pet in a cage, domesticate it), or will you leash him for your daughters (domesticate it as a dog on a leash). Verse 6, Will your companions make a banquet of him? Will they apportion him among the merchants?

Verse 7, Can you fill his skin with harpoons, or his head with fishing spears? The tone begins to change here: Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle—never do it again! Indeed, any hope of overcoming him is false; shall not one be overwhelmed by the site of him? No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand against Me? Verse 11, Who has proceded Me, that I should pay him? Everything under heaven is Mine. (My commentary is this: If you can’t stand against the dragon, how would you stand against God).

Verse 14, Who can open the doors of his face (mouth) with his terrible teeth all around? His rows of scales are his pride (whales do not have scales).

Verse 18, His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning lights; sparks of fire shoot out, smoke goes out of his nostrils, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth. Strength dwells in his neck, and despair dances before him. His heart is as hard as stone, even as hard as the lower millstone. When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid. Though the sword reaches him, it cannot avail; nor does spear, dart, javelin. He regards iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee. He makes the deep broil like a pot. O earth there is nothing like him, which is made without fear. He beholds every high thing; He is king over all the children of pride.

Job perceives injustices in his life and he takes issue with it. He feels that God has acted unjustly on his behalf, allowing him loss and affliction in his body. Our ancestors allowed dysfunction, chaos and disorder to invade every particle of life. Before them, their disobedience, boundaries were situated for chaos. Adam was supposed to have guarded the garden from any entry of the beasts outside the garden.

The serpent, and in Hebrew that would be nachash in Genesis 3, meaning the shining one, through words, the nachash talked Eve out of her authority. She relinquished, or surrendered her rights to this divine being of rebellion and chaos. Her submitting to the words of the nachash and eating of that fruit allowed the enemy’s fruit to manifest in the world and in the lives of their descendants. In the end it is the same way in Revelation 13 in verse 2 where it says the beast was like a leopard with the feet of a bear and his mouth (singular) like the mouth of a lion.  The leviathan will use words of persuasion that will take people captive, they will give up their authority, their identities, and their rights. He will possess the title of every one that will be led astray by his mouth.

Job was correct in that he had not done anything wrong, but he fails to see  that there are these other factors, it is these primordial entities-the behemoth and leviathan, play a huge role in life, which is chaos.

What humans set in motion, they cannot correct. Mankind cannot recapture what was lost—only God can make wrongs right; and the beginning of doing this was through His Son; and may as well say the end of it too; because all things at the end of the new Millennium will be placed under His feet. Only God can come near the dragon to slay it. Humankind cannot do it.

If it is God’s will I will be here next program. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Do two things this week: love and forgive. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness every day. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Love God and love your neighbor
