“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

January 10, 2021

Summary: Since we are in the end of days, there are going to be some great supernatural events that follow the first outpouring on Shavuot/Pentecost. This serves as a herald and pattern for the ushering in of the Messianic Kingdom.

Shalom, shalom; peace, peace in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program.

I do have a website called Ancientscrollsonline.com. I do post prophetic dreams, visions, and words, transcripts, and these programs are always posted every week on my website: ancientscrollsonline.com.

Shema   Deuteronomy 6

Shema, O Israel, the LORD God, the LORD is One.

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Psalm 24

The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein.

Numbers 10:35, Psalm 68:1

Arise, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered; and let those who hate You flee before you.

Father YHVH,

You are the King of the universe, king over heaven and earth. Your mercy endures throughout all generations. We thank You for Your Words for we believe that in them is eternal life.

We pray that Your righteousness and justice will reign in the earth. You are a good Father, and that You have good plans for Your people. It seems we have entered a time of testing to see what is in our hearts, and our desire is to serve You for there is no name above Your name. We want to worship You, not just with lip service but with our hearts.

The earth will fade away and all things in it, but You are forever and ever faithful and a most compassionate Judge. You are the God of all tomorrows. You reveal to every generation Your steadfastness and unchangeable character.

And the LORD passed before Moses and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children the third and fourth generation. Exodus 34:6-7

We anticipate the outpouring of Your Spirit upon all flesh and for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In Yeshua’s name. Amen.

Here we are just a few days in the new year and it has been anything but boring. Last year was a rough year, and we are going into this year with many challenges ahead of us.

Last program I stated that as a people of God, and since we are at the end of this age, we need to focus more on the kingdom of God. This would include staying in repentance, practicing righteousness and justice, assisting others, developing a generous spirit, having mercy and compassion, being hospitable; in some cases, we have to be discerning as well, because of the wolves in sheep’s clothing. I have encountered some of these people as well.

I am going to go over some passages in Acts 2. This is after the outpouring of His Spirit at Shavuot/Pentecost. Peter is giving a compelling message on Yeshua being the Messiah that the prophets spoke of and specifically speaking from Joel and the Psalms 16 and 110.  His audience that day were Jews and proselytes. Verse 10.

Hearing Peter’s sermon, these men become under the influence or the power of the Spirit of repentance and they ask Peter and the rest of the apostles: Men and brothers, what shall we do? I love this because it will be like this in under the outpouring for the latter days. There will be a supernatural sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. There will be people who will ask: What must we do to be saved.

Peter is not one to waste a moment because he replies: “Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

  1. And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying: “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
  2. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
  3. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
  4. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43.Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

  1. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45. and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone who had need.

I am going to go over a little in the next verse and break some of this down

  1. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple (people of the west sometimes think of the Temple as an accursed object, but the first century Christians viewed it as a focal point of where to share their faith, Yeshua on some occasions called it His Father’s House. They were able to practice and fulfill some of the requirements of word—like the feasts of the Lord. Yeshua did not have a quarrel with the Temple, but often quarreled with those in the Temple, the cult figures like many of the Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and Lawyers because of their leaven, and their neglecting the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness, and also of them possessing hard hearts; they hated Yeshua without a cause, and the Temple was destroyed because of them, not because of the Temple itself, Matthew 23:23), and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Back to verse 42 and I will break it down some

Verse 42. In the first century these Jews and proselytes continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine (so their primary emphasis was teaching from the Tanach/Old Testament Torah, the prophets (Nehemia, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Micah, Malachi, Ezekiel, Joel, etc.), and the writings (Daniel, Esther, Ruth, Job, Ecclesiastes, Proverbs, Psalms); they were committed to studying and learning from the Tanach. They did not teach from the New Testament because there was no New Testament) and fellowship (This speaks of the interdependency of people living together in a close and caring community), in the breaking of bread (This is an ancient idiom for hospitality. They hosted one another in each other’s homes and shared common meals together. A Jewish person would understand this to be the Sabbath observance), and in prayers (they met daily to pray together, whether in their homes, the synagogues, or at the Temple).

  1. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45. and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone who had need.

Some do not have balance when interpreting these verses, that this communal environment of caring and giving supports communism. The passages present a viewof community in which private ownership is much the norm, but it is tempered by open-handed generosity and hospitality. Even Yeshua’s frequent admonitions to give to those who ask and bestow charity in abundance would be lost on a community that had no private ownership out of which to give.

In Torah it was the wealthier who possessed lands that were required to give to the poor by leaving the corners of their fields, and the fruits of their trees and vines. The economy of the believers of The Way sold possessions and goods only to meet the needs of others as those needs arose. No one was compelled to sell their goods in order to participate in the community. The community held to the words that emphasized to care for the less fortunate. People were required to work because Paul mentioned II Thessalonians 3:10, If a man will not work, he shall not eat. Paul had an occupation as a tent maker.

The ideal person was to be a charitable person, possessing the attributes of love, mercy, compassion, justice, hospitality, treating everyone with the same dignity whether they were poor or wealthy.

  1. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

The disciples had practiced miracles before in the name of Yeshua. Matthew 10:1

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

  1. And as you go, preach, saying: The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Thus, it does not follow that the miracles they performed were contingent upon the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Rather that out-pouring signaled the moment of transition at which they were to take up the mantle of Messiah. In the same way, Elisha began to operate in the miracles of Elijah immediately after Elijah’s ascension.

The out-pouring that is coming will be the moment of transition as well. It is the signal that the kingdom of heaven is at hand, the preparation for the arrival of Yeshua, and He will have an inheritance among the nations.

I did notice Matthew 10:7, And as you go, preach, saying: The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Verse of 1 of Matthew, the disciples are given authority, power over demons and disease, and that is great and wonderful, let us follow the text as it continues, Yeshua gives them instructions on what to do first with this power, what is the first thing?  To first preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand. This is included in the signs and wonders. Preaching the kingdom of heaven is at hand is also a sign and wonder, not just casting out demons, raising the dead, and healing disease.

The deliverances follow the message of–the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts 2

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams, and on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

Signs and wonders such as the supernatural deliverance from demons and disease, play a part in the kingdom of God, but there are other signs and wonders that speak as in the form of anticipation, in this text serves as a warning of the Messiah’s return. The world has had 2000 years to prepare for His return. The gospel has reached all the nations, now some little tribe of 10 people may not have heard the gospel of Yeshua, but the message of Yeshua has gone through all the nations.

Alright, I am the end of the program.

This year and onward are going to be years of great challenges because the kingdom of God approaching. The war between good and evil will become more violent for the souls of mankind.

The system of the world is going to be eventually destroyed, and those supporters and promoters of it will be destroyed with it.

The outpouring of the end days is the preparation to meet the Messiah. This is the last days of the harvest before His return. We are to prepare to meet Him. He has a plan to gather the wheat into His barn, and burn up the tares.

Everyone will have opportunity to repent, not everyone will.

Heavy persecution is coming, but it will not stop the gospel from continuing to reach the nations. The devil has tried to suppress it, block it, hinder it, annihilate it and he it has been his greatest failure. He thinks by destroying the gospel, the word, that the words concerning his demise will not happen. But the word has already issued a judgment against him. He is condemned to the lake of fire.

Christians soon are going to be mobilized. Many of you are going to hear from God about being mobilized to areas in this nation to minister to people. There will be signs and wonders, and people will repent.

I will leave you with a word from the Word John 14:1

“Let not your heart be troubled, Jesus says, “Believe in God, believe in me.”

Anyway, I am at the end.

If it is God’s will I will be here next week.Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Do two things: love and forgive. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness every day. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Love God and love your neighbor.
