Father, We thank You for being God, for being the King of the Universe; for making a way for us to be included into Your Covenant of favor. Thank You for the blood and death of Your only begotten Son, Yahshua, that His blood ratified the covenant for those who are able to receive You; that His blood is able to remove every stain of offense, every stain of sin, every stain of transgression, every stain of iniquity; cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. Help us to reflect Your menorah, which is Your light, into this oppressively dark world.
I pray as this New Year approaches that we will be more mindful to hunger and thirst after Your righteousness.
I pray now that You will help us to prepare ourselves for the persecution that is going to take place in the next few years if this nation does not repent, Father, now is the time to turn to You and seek Your righteousness.
I confess the manifold sins of this nation, and ask You Father to convict this nation of its bitter hatred toward You, toward others, and the unborn; idolatry, adultery, murder, sexual addictions, child molestations, homosexuality, fornication, drug addictions, greed, afflicting the poor, the widow, and orphans, its obsession with self-gratification. Father, we are so far from Your ways, and have forgotten Your teachings.
We perish because we have rejected Your vision, which is Your knowledge, and the knowledge of You; and we are now vexed with this trickle down, Laodicean, gospel. God, we ask You for deliverance from this plague that has produced famine for Your spiritual bread.
We need Your assistance this day, if we are to survive. I pray for France; they cursed Israel in December 2016 and January 2017. In the Spirit I heard they were going to experience terrorist attacks. I pray they will repent of their having become captured by that demonic spirit of offense which loathes You and Your people. I pray You will remember Your righteous people in France.
We pray for our president that he will experience truth in the inward parts, that You give him Your divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding—that the gift of discernment will be active in his life to see those in governments who are wolves and anti-Christs. We ask You to send angels on assignment to protect him, his wife, children and grandchildren from those anti-Christs in the world.
We thank You for being God. We bless You. Amen
So today, the discussion is going to be on the Yeshua and mostly it will be about His birth.
So, the information I have is going to come from Matthew and Luke.
Before I forget, I am going to mention this about the chip, or the RFID is already out, of course; but I had a story in an email sent to me from a friend. This is a true story about a 19 year old young man who was raised in a Christian home and he was a Christian also.
This young man said that he prayed every day, and the Holy Spirit would speak to him and he had intimacy with God; but then he began to hear about the RFID bringing more security to information so he and his friend went to a government facility and he had the RFID inserted. This is his story, that when he had done this, the Holy Spirit no longer spoke to him, no matter how much he fasted and prayed. His story is it is the mark of the system of the beast.
Revelation 14:9-10
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark or his name.
Well, God means what He says and says what He means—do not take the RFID chip. There is no security in the world, in a false system, in a false Christ. The RFID can be hacked anyway, then the world system found this to be undesirable and made a newer improved version called the NFC—Near Field Communication. According to some The NFC can be read or scanned 4 inches in front of you compared to the RFID that can be scanned several feet away from you. I am saying this so that you will be aware of this.

Do not take the Chip (RFID or NFC) in your forehead or in your hand.
A company in Wisconsin called the Three Square Market had a party for its employees to take the NFC (Near Field Communication) chip in August of this year. Something like 50 employees had it inserted. This has eternal consequences, and I am talking to you, and the Spirit of God is talking to you, anyone listening with doubt and unbelief will not make God less real or hell less real—you just end up sending yourself into eternal separation from God. God said don’t do it, so don’t do it. Don’t provoke Him to do those judgments He doesn’t want to do.
So, okay, tomorrow is Christmas. Years ago people understood it to be about the birth of Christ, it was a celebration of His birth. Now corporations use it as celebration of you going in debt to make purchases for everyone on the naughty and nice lists. They love your interest payments for 6 months. Slavery in Babylon doesn’t come cheap. My husband and I do not go into debt for Christmas. I had a friend who asked about getting us something for Christmas and I told her to give something to the ministry of “Helping hands.”
Okay, so what I am going to do today is cover a little bit of information on Yeshua in Matthew and Luke.
The thing I find interesting is how one phrase, or a sentence from the Bible that someone mentions in passing or in sermon or just reading the Word will have this profound impact on your life.
Mine came when I read this from John 5:43 New King James Version
“I have come in my Father’s name . . .”
In the Hebrew and Greek Strong’s I counted Yeshua calling God His Father “My Father” 43 times throughout the Gospels, 43 times and three more were found in Revelation making a total of 46 times.
Yeshua said in John 6:44, 57; chapter 8:16, 18; John 12:49; John 20:21 : “the Father who sent Me” and John 10:30 “I and My Father are One”
Let us travel to Luke 1 where we read that a young virgin named Miriam is visited by Gabriel. The angel makes a salutation or a greeting to her: “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Ld is with you; blessed are you among women. Do not be afraid, Miriam, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call his name Yeshua. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Ld Gd will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Gabriel states further: “that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”
In Matthew 1:19-21
Joseph, or in Hebrew Yosef, the betrothed husband of Miriam is visited by Gabriel. Yosef, Son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Miriam your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Yeshua for He will save (or Shua) His people from their sins.
What a proclamation. It said: “. . . you will conceive and bring forth a son and call his name Yeshua.”
Yeshua said: “I have come in my Father’s name . . .” and “the Father who sent Me”
Yeshua is a contraction from the name Yehoshua or Joshua. While the southern kingdom, Judah, was in Babylon they shortened it Yehoshua to Yeshua. The first part of His name consists of Yah which is His father’s name which consists of Yod Hey Vav Hey and pronounced Yahweh; and the latter part of His name Shua means save, rescue or deliver, so it means “Yah’s salvation.” Sometimes we say Yahweh’s name when we shout or sing Hallel-u-yah. Halleluyah in Hebrew means praise Yah.
In ancient times a name reflected the revelation or the manifestation of someone’s character that is distinguishing them from others. So Yeshua came on a mission in His Father’s name to save.
I did pick up something interesting about Matthew and Luke that I had not noticed before until the other evening. I was taught years ago that Matthew was the genealogy of Yosef / Joseph and Luke was the genealogy of Miriam.
What I noticed this time around that Matthew focuses more on Josef, and likewise Luke produces this longer narrative on Miriam.
Anyways, ok. Let’s just look at these passages in Luke concerning the place of the birth of Yeshua. I do not adhere to Yeshua being born in the winter time on December 25th, and it is because of the scholarly investigations, debates and essays by others; besides those writings in the Talmud concerning the sheep that were kept out at night at the Migdal Tower that were used for sacrifices in the Temple. It had to be warm for the shepherds to stay out at night.
There are those who defend their opinion that Yeshua was born at the Lord’s feast of Tabernacles, the feast of booths (Leviticus 23), and there are some who think he could have been born at Passover. I am thinking that Rabbi Johnathan Kahn favors a Passover birth for Yeshua. It seems when I read the birth of Yeshua, it seems it is sort of assumed that the audience knows the time of it.
What we are going to do is just look at Luke 2 and I am still reading from the New King James Version
What Luke reports is that a census was decreed by Caesar Augustus and Josef and Miriam had to go and register in their own city of Bethlehem, because of being of the lineage of David. So far the text does not say anything about them having to attend the Lord’s feast of Tabernacles.
In Leviticus 23, the males were required to present themselves three times a year at three of the Lord’s feasts: Passover, Shavuot which we say Pentecost and the 3rd feast of Tabernacles.
While on their way Miriam is being pressed to deliver her baby in verse 7 says: “And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room at the inn”. What it doesn’t say is just as interesting—that there is no mention of a stable or cave. It is almost like the reader would assume what the dwelling would be.The only thing mentioned is a manger. The angels, in Luke 2:12, announce to the shepherds they would find the Babe dressed in swaddling clothes in a manger, and in the city of David. Verse 16 says these shepherds made haste and found Miriam, Yosef and the Babe lying in a manger. In both gospels the focus is entirely on the Babe in the manger.
What I found interesting in a book called “Life, Culture, Customs and Traditions of Yeshua: All Four Gospels” by Professor Liebenberg, in it he explains that the census decreed by Caesar Augustus possibly occurred at the time of booths. If you are confused about the feast of booths or tabernacles, we see this mentioned in Matthew 17; Mark 9 and Luke 9:28 at the Mount of Transfiguration when Yeshua is with Moses and Elijah; and Peter asks if they should build booths. The only time they build these temporary shelters is at the Lord’s feast of booths.
Anyways . . . ok, so
There is a Dr. Hoehner on his site crossexamined.org that has some thought provoking information concerning the census and that it was planned at different provinces at different times, and was possibly required in the fall/winter of 5/4 BC for the area of Bethlehem.
I am going to refresh your memory on Jacob having been exiled to Aram to live there with his uncle Laban, tending sheep; because his brother Esau had designed to one day kill him; and this is a prophetic picture of the nation of Israel going into exile and slavery in Egypt. About 20 years later Jacob leaves his uncle’s house and takes his family and returns to Canaan again. This is a prophetic picture of the nation to be delivered from the Egyptians; and even today we see Israel is a nation dwelling in the historical land of Canaan.
So anyway, Genesis 33:17 says: And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, built himself a house, and made booths for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
The Hebrew word Sukkah means temporary shelter, stable or hut.
Looking at Luke 2:21, and when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Yeshua, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
By reading this verse one would assume Miriam stayed there where she had the child and had Yeshua circumcised there where she birthed him at Bethlehem. Let’s talk about Bethlehem.
The Hebrew language is like pictures; similar to the language of the native Americans. When you are watching a movie on the Indians they say “Running deer,’’ “Flying Eagle,” or “Running Wolf,” or even Pocahontas which means “playful one.” By the way Bethlehem means “House of bread.” So you can break it down to Yah’s Salvation in the House of Bread.
In Matthew 2:1
Now after Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem
If you break this down in word pictures it would read
Yah’s Salvation was born in the house of bread of Praise, in the days of Hero (the world’s king), the king, behold wise me from the East came to the city of peace
