A family member told me this dream. She and her daughter picked up their shovels and they set out to dig out a place for plants. She really wasn’t sure what they were going to plant. She got there first with her daughter near to her and forced the shovel into the ground. They did not go very deep, but she became sickened when the hole began to fill up with blood. This was disturbing and they would not continue digging. End
Note: She asked me what I thought it meant. My take on it was that the earth has become polluted with the blood of humans.
Genesis 9:4. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. (Acts 15:20, the council agreed the Gentiles to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood).
Leviticus 17:11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for your soul.
Genesis 4:8. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother, and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I by brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.”
The sages say the shedding of human blood causes earthquakes and that belief comes from verse 11: “So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.”
Life is in the blood, meaning that blood never dies. The earth is corrupted with the blood of innocents. Even the blood of Yeshua cries out from the ground, and there was an earthquake at His death and resurrection. America has destroyed many lives through the murder of the unborn, by some accounts is 60-70 million. This does not take into account of the 15,500 other murders that are committed each year.
What she saw is compared to YHVH speaking to Abraham concerning his descendants being strangers in a land that was not theirs, and will serve them (Egyptians), and they will afflict them 400 years. Genesis 15:16, “But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”
There is a time when sin meets its fullness, it’s full measure. From that time on, like the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, etc., destruction comes. For those inhabitants in Canaan it took four hundred more years for destruction. If God does not address evil, wickedness, immorality, and other excesses, then He is not just.
Murder pollutes the land and sexual sins defile it.

24 ‘Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have become defiled. 25 ‘For the land has become defiled, therefore I have brought its punishment upon it, so the land has spewed out its inhabitants. 26 ‘But as for you, you are to keep My statutes and My judgments and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the native, nor the alien who sojourns among you 27 (for the men of the land who have been before you have done all these abominations, and the land has become defiled); 28 so that the land will not spew you out, should you defile it, as it has spewed out the nation which has been before you.
Psalm 106:38
38 And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with the blood.
Numbers 35:33–34
33 ‘So you shall not pollute the land in which you are; for blood pollutes the land and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. 34 ‘You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell; for I YHVH am dwelling in the midst of the sons of Israel.’ ”
Isaiah 24:5–6
5 The earth is also polluted (defiled) by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.
