“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”

Behemoth and Leviathan August 12 2018

Shalom-Shalom; peace, in the name of Yeshua. This is Crystal Sharpe and welcome to the Ancient Scrolls program. Today is the first day of the week, it is Sunday August 12.

Pastor Gary Huff of Man Hu ministries will be teaching the 24th of August, this on a Friday at 6:30 pm at Pastor Skeen’s Word of Faith Church located at 117 4H Lake Road in Beaver, WV. Pastor Gary does an excellent job of revealing to us the hidden places in the Tanach, we say Old Testament, where Yeshua and His mission are found. Yeshua is often found in plain sight.

Father,

We thank You for being God and being the King of the universe, over heaven and earth. Pslam 24, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and those who dwell therein.

We ask You to cleanse us from all unrighteousness that our prayers will not be hindered. We forgive those who offend and attack us so that we may receive Your forgiveness for our failures also.

Open the eyes of our hearts, so that we may see you, and understand the times that we are in for we are in the end of days. We anticipate Your second coming according to Hebrews 9:28, thus also, when the Messiah was offered once, He took the sin of many upon Himself. He will be seen a second time without any relation to sin by those waiting eagerly for Him for their salvation.  His second coming will fulfill Isaiah chapter 2:2-5; and 9:5-6. We eagerly await Your second return Yeshua.

We pray for Your protection over President Trump, over his wife, his children and grandchildren. We pray wisdom, knowledge and understanding to permeate him, along with Your Spirit of might, counsel, discernment, and Your Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

We also pray for Netanyahu, for his protection, and we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The nations rage against You and against Your people.

We pray for Your martyrs in China, and in the Middle East. They endure abuse, torture, rape, starvation, they are often drowned and burned alive, their children sodomized and beheaded—they will not deny You, Lord Yeshua. I pray for them. These are people who are now in white garments under Your altar in Revelation 6:10, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Your people are told to “rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” We pray for them continual strength to endure, because persecution will be here until the second return of Yeshua.

We bless You Father, we thank You for Your presence, for Your word today. In Yeshua’s name.

Today we are going to continue examine the death of Samson. Last week I said that his death prefigured the Messiah’s death. That Messiah killed more at His death (demonic kingdom) than He had in His life. Though He (Yeshua) greatly oppressed the kingdom of darkness while in this earthly life by healing people who were oppressed, possessed, and fed thousands by just a few loaves of bread and a few fish, it was His death that brought death to death.

I went on to explain that death will be conquered after the millennium of Tabernacles. This is the kingdom of shalom, peace; the kingdom where Yeshua will reign supreme. After the millennium of shalom is God’s kingdom called the 8th day. The 8th day is eternity. It is this day, the 8th day, that our hearts will be circumcised. The laws of God will be written on our hearts.

If you want to know what is going to happen next read Mathew 24:3, and parallels with the seals of Revelation. Yeshua is expounding Revelation before there is a book of Revelation.Nothing is hidden, nothing is secret.  The disciples ask Him what will be the sign of Your coming (not comings, they understood one coming) and the end of the age? He begins to instruct that false Messiahs come first; well, this is the white horse in Seal 1 in Revelation 6:2.

Matthew 24: verse 6 and half of verse 7 is the 2nd seal; the red horse. The third seal; the black horse is Mathew 24, which is the last half of verse 7 and continuing to verse 8 and overlaps with the 4th seal, which is the pale horse is found in Revelation 6:7 Seal number 5 is the 9th verse of Mathew 24 and this is persecution of His people. Yeshua then tells us His return in Matthew 24:29-31. The scriptures offer their own interpretation.

Anyways, there were some events in Samson’s life that on a certain level reveal to us a relationship with the end of days. One element is the number 3. There were 30 Philistines to guard Samson at the wedding. He kills 30 Philistines at Ashkelon and takes their garments. Samson captured 300 jackals and burned the Philistines wheat, olive tree and vineyards. At the end of Judges 16:30, Samson pushes against the two pillars of the house of Dagan; it collapses killing 3000 men and women. This is also a depiction of the end of days. The house of Babylon, its idolatry of worshipping the beast; the overthrow of its economic, spiritual and political system.

3 is the fullness of God. 30 is associated with maturity: Yeshua being about 30 years of age began his ministry, and Joseph was taken out of prison at 30 years of age, and was promoted to second in command to Pharaoh. 300 jackals burning the Philistine fields is the measurement of justice being returned to the Philistines. The 3000 that are destroyed in the house of Dagan reflects full mature measure of judgment on the idolaters. Here is a couple of examples in Revelation that meet the mature measure of judgment:

In Revelation 6:7 the fourth seal is loosed, the horseman of death and hades and power was given to them over the fourth of the earth to kill with the sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. This is ¼ of a whole, so it is estimated the population of earth is 7 billion. By mathematics ¼ is 1,750,000,000. This will leave 5 billion, 250 million.

Revelation 9:18, By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone. These 3 elements destroy another 1 billion, 750 million and will leave the world population at 3 billion 500 million people, so roughly about half the population will be killed. Judgment in Samson’s day was 3000 men and women, the end of days judgment will be numbered over 3 billion people. This is tragic and preventable, but man is tried by his own rebellion; we cause our own pain, our own deaths.

Ok, so let’s take a look at the house of Dagan. Judges 16:29

And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left.

Ok, so let’s look at the two pillars of the house of Dagan that Samson toppled. This is a depiction of the fall of Babylon at the end of this age in Revelation.  I have to take the long way around to try and explain this. So try to keep up. To understand Revelation, you have to understand ancient history, ancient Middle Eastern thought, their myths, their writings, their culture and manners. The book of Revelation is 2000 years old, so that is quite distant from our time. We have to capture the presence of the past through scholarly works that help bring understanding to the writings and visions of John.

From time to time as I would read Revelation 13, I could not understand why one beast in that text would come from the waters, or the seas and the other beast would come from the earth.

Last program I taught that the ancient peoples’ perception of the seas, and waters were images of chaos. Genesis 1 has the Holy Spirit hovering over the waters of the abyss. The world was in chaos, until God brought order. These theme of water and chaos go from beginning to the end of the Bible. Noah had to cope with the flood. Moses as a baby was placed in a basket and he was delivered from the waters by Pharaoh’s daughter. God struck the Nile and turned it to blood, it was changed to chaos and the creatures died in it, and people could not drink from it. The river gave death and not life.

The Hebrews in the wilderness worshipped the idol golden calf. Moses ground it up, sprinkled it on the waters and the Hebrews drank it. So this passage leads to other similar situations. There was an instruction in the Torah that if a wife was suspicious of being unfaithful, her husband would take her to the priests and was made to drink water mixed with the dust of the floor of the tabernacle—this mixture is called the waters of ordeal, or the bitter waters; earth and water and these two elements resurface twice in Revelation, and one is Revelation 13. One beast comes from the sea, and the other beast from the earth. This is similar to the instruction in Torah concerning the wife who is suspicious of being unfaithful; what is the church going to do at that time when the false Messiah who comes from the sea is revealed and the false prophet who comes from the earth.

What is the church going to do? Show herself during this trial to be faithful or unfaithful. Well, some will be faithful and some will be unfaithful. This will be the church’s bitter waters, or waters of ordeal.

I said the there were two places in Revelation for bitter waters. The other place is Revelation 8. A great star fell from heaven burning like a torch and it fell on the third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Numbers 5 explains that if the wife suspicious of being unfaithful drinks the bitter waters—it is the waters that will bring a curse in her belly causing it to swell and her thigh to rot. The waters will discover her faithfulness or her unfaithfulness. If she is found faithful she may conceive children. This is called the Law of Jealousy. God is a jealous God.

Let us go ahead and look at Revelation 13, Then I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads blasphemous names (At times scriptures will interpret scriptures because in Revelation 17:15, an angel explains that the symbol “sea” or “waters” represent peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. Then the next verse tells us this beast that rises up are nations.

VERSE 2, Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard (the Jews associate GREECE with Rome since these nations came from Japeth, and today would represent Europe

his feet were like the feet of a bear (bear feet represents the Arabs, no Particular or specific Arabic nation since they move as one organism under Allah. On occasion there are some family squabbles between the shi’ia and sunni when there are no other enemies; and their current enemies are Israel and America; these are the last strong holds. Europe is conquered, and they have been conquered by the feet of millions and millions of Muslims. They now carry Europe just like John’s vision in Revelation 13.

In the ancient past, in the book of Daniel 7, the bear was Persia and the Medes and these two nations overthrew King Belshazzar’s Babylonian kingdom. The Medes today are the Kurds that are fighting in Syria and Turkey. People today still think the feet of a bear in Revelation 13 is Russia, but the ancient symbol was Persia/Iran which are the Muslims. Whatever global plans Russia may have, they will never succeed without China or the Arabs. It is interesting that 40% of Russia’s military are Arabs.

and his mouth like the mouth of a lion (in the ancient past the lion represented Babylon, so it is like history is repeating itself in our life time.

The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

verse 11 is a description of a beast that comes out of the earth: then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. Verse 13, He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. Verse 14, And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast (from the sea), telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, verse 17, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

This beast out of the earth has the appearance of a lamb. Lambs in Middle Eastern thought are to be animals of peace, like cattle, kids of goats and doves. According to the Torah all these animals were used as sacrifices on the altars of the tabernacle and temples. So this beast is thought to be a man of peace, and it is significant that he has two horns, because lambs do not have horns. He is a man of religion because he compels people to worship the image of the beast from the seas, from chaos.

Scholars call this beast from the earth the false prophet. He performs signs, and is able to give breath to an image, and has the authority to have anyone killed that doesn’t worship the image; and people are impressed with his abilities to act like God—giving life and ordering death.

I am at the end of the program and next week we will pursue some passages in Psalms and a couple of places in Job, and pull this together.

If it is God’s will I will be here next program. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Do two things this week: love and forgive. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness every day. Keep your spiritual garments clean from spots, wrinkles and blemishes. Love God and love your neighbor
