Anarchy in the United States Dream

In the dream I’m living in some other place besides the current apartment in which I live. I see a bunch of people, both men and women. Most of them are much younger than me. They are casually wandering around neighborhoods stirring up trouble wherever possible. They show not respect for the property of others, or where they live, or for the people themselves. Their intentions are of breaking into people’s homes and property, stealing or damaging cars, etc. The situation is one of anarchy.
They are, also, armed with small caliber hand-guns. They do not have anything like the 9mm rifle that I possess. So, they come after me, for I see them approaching the front of my house. However, I’m ready for them. So, I started shooting at them with my 9mm revolver, but they were too far away for me to hit them. On both sides they tried to outflank me, but that move did not work, because I saw what they were doing. I could see some of the shots I fired were tracer rounds. I could not see if I hit anyone because I did not have a spotter. I had to spend time shooting. Then of course, they ran off. After this I picked up my 9mm police rifle, I carefully line up the site and “Kaboom”. That rifle sounds like a cannon going off. I was aiming at a specific man in a yellow shirt and beige pants. A 9mm rifle is very accurate up to 100 yards, after that you can still hit the target, but it begins to lose kill power. However, he had retreated well beyond the 100-yard accuracy limit. I could actually see the bullet bounce off his chest and hit the ground. After this display this group retreated and dispersed. Then there were others joining me in the fight and we kept shooting them and driving them off more and more until they disappeared. I got in another fight in another location about the same thing, but that part of the dream was much more vague.
